About me
“I am so excited to be working with the FCS teachers in Utah! I am a FCS teacher through and through. I took all the FCS classes available to me as a high schooler and was our FCCLA president. I then went on to major in Family Consumer Sciences at BYU-Idaho and student taught in Las Vegas. Before I was finished with my student teaching experience, I was offered a job in Las Vegas and never left. I have nine years of experience teaching High school students in Culinary Arts. I then got my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and became a Project Facilitator for the Career and Technical Education Department in the Clark County School District. In this position, I have had the opportunity to work with teachers in our district to be successful in their classrooms and in their careers overall. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Instructional Technology and Distance Education. I hope to bring my unique experience with both instruction, technology, and love for FCS to Utah to help enhance the great work you are doing. I can’t wait to meet everyone and look forward to moving the FCS pathways in Utah forward to new horizons.”
