Participants will create a quilt as you go block that can be used as a table runner, quilt block or tote. No prior quilting experience needed. These skills and ideas will help engage students in a variety of creative and constructive techniques that will allow for creativity, textile construction, problem solving and ownership of their finished project. A unique and rewarding way to build the love of sewing and a gateway into the world of quilting that is accessible to students of all ages. You will also learn about my Sewing License process I use with my students to gradually build their confidence with operating a sewing machine in a fun but structured way!
